La producción española ‘Julieta’, dirigida por Pedro Almodóvar, ha recibido 7 nominaciones para los ICS Awards (International Cinefhile Society), incluyendo mejor película, director y guión adaptado.
La cinta protagonizada por Emma Suárez es la más nominadas tras ‘Elle’, ‘Moonlight’ y ‘Silence’, todas ellas con 8 candidaturas. Por contra, el huracán ‘La la land’ sólo ha recibido una mención: diseño de arte (me gusta ese dato).
Además, ‘La Mort de Louis XIV’ (Albert Serra) está nominada como mejor película no estrenada en USA.
Formada en 2003, la International Cinephile Society es un grupo compuesto por aproximadamente 100 periodistas acreditados, académicos de cine, historiadores y otros profesionales de la industria que cubren festivales de cine y eventos en los cinco continentes como Cannes, Berlín, Toronto, Nueva York, Vancouver, Roma, Venecia, San Sebastián, San Francisco, AFI, Seattle, Rotterdam y TCM.
Dirigido Cédric Succivalli, cada año el ICS honra a los mejores del cine estadounidense e internacional.
